Two mates and a ute.
The story behind OzTeen, and the people who show up to every job.
How OzTeen got here
OzTeen began with rubbish removal and landscaping jobs, and grew into three businesses run by the same crew, serving the Northern Beaches seven days a week.
- Age 16Max and Nick start working together in rubbish removal and landscaping.
- Airtasker and a uteThe jobs keep coming through Airtasker, done from a ute.
- School to uniThe work and the customers grow alongside study.
- OzTeen Rubbish RemovalsThe most-requested job becomes the first business.
- Gardens and Pressure WashingTwo more services launch under the OzTeen name.
Growing a team of young locals
OzTeen started with two students and a ute. One day, we want to be busy enough to hire more young, skilled and passionate students.
We want to give other local students what we were lucky to find: real work, real responsibility and a team to learn from, all while they study.
